I was extremely upset by the way we were treated at the hotel. the room was not tidy, the sheets needed changing and the towels were dirty. We were being given smoking rooms (even though not requested), untidy and smelly. Then being constantly interupted by housekeeping in the morning yet when ice or food was requested no one was available. Staff were rude when in the restaurant and when requesting a taxi or housekeeping we were greeted with disdaint. Very close to all amenities that was the best bit. Staff was rude, room was atttrocious and was not the preferences we asked for when booking. Were treated so badly and food was terrible. Will not go back to that hotel.

Room compact but exceptionally clean, comfortable and well-provisioned. Flat screen TV appreciated. Breakfast very good. Central location near station, shops and restaurants is excellent. Suggest Holiday Inn shorten and simplify their own feedback form to encourage responses!
